The locals adore the cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of 50’s diners, where everyone feels at home. They rave about the great coffee, often emphasizing that it pairs perfectly with the delicious breakfast dishes.
Patrons highly recommend the 'Jack Special' and the 'Meat and Cheese Omelet,' both of which consistently receive positive feedback for their taste and generous portions. Many highlight the delightful homemade biscuits and gravy, noting that these comfort foods evoke fond memories.

Most Disliked
While the experience is predominantly positive, some visitors mention occasional waits during peak hours, particularly on Saturdays when the diner reaches 100% capacity. It can get busy, leading to longer wait times for food during lunch rushes as well.
A few patrons also note that, despite the impressive menu variety, the limited dinner offerings might not appeal to late-night diners looking for a more extensive selection.
Lastly, while the diner is accessible, some guests wish for more spacious seating options, particularly during busy brunch times, as the intimate layout might feel cramped for larger groups.

Great diner find, filled with locals. Everything you would expect to find at a cool diner. Food was prepared as ordered, came out fast, and was very good. Service was spectacular, she was the only one serving, taking orders, delivering the food, answering the phone and working the register.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — you feel like family the moment you walk in. Service was excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the jack special, meat and cheese omelet for first timer plus coffee and hot choco, it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back. 👍🏼👍🏼 keep it up!

Popped into Jim’s for a quick breakfast with a pal and I was greeted by the most lovely server Jill! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave the best recommendations, but I went with a classic scrambled eggs and bacon with a black coffee! If you’re looking for yummy home styled, Good ol fashioned breakfast, this is the place to be! It reminded me of my childhood, waking up early to the smell of bacon on a crisp Sunday morning with the family. This place was not only nostalgic, but it felt like home! Thank you Jill for a wonderful easy going morning!

This is an old school place. The atmosphere reflects this. These are the places I love. You can see they value their history. My gf and I were immediately seated, only waited no more than 10 minutes once our order was taken. Speedy excellent service, great food, great prices. Will be back again and again and again.

Oh my...what a beautiful and tasty experience! We're visiting from Virginia, for the weekend and searched "best breakfast in Solon" & this diner came up! We had the specials - pesto omelet - 2 orders of potato Pancakes - cheesy eggs over grits w/tomato. Wow! Only recommendation is for you to sit at the counter when you visit. The cooks were super efficient. Be sure to tip them separately than the waitstaff...they're gifted. Coffee was delicious and the staff were so friendly. We even met a believer there and confirmed that God's spirit is everywhere!!

Exactly what you’d expect from an old school diner. Simple but good breakfast food. Staff was friendly. The only thing that may be tricky for people is that it isn’t a large restaurant so getting a seat may be difficult. Our party of 6 got extremely lucky because I think only the one table up front can accommodate a group that big from what I could see.
